Juro took the pokeball with Rune, his newly caught Zigzagoon, in it. He put him up with the rest and continued down the path.

Standing in a lighted area, absorbing the sunshine, being totally ignorant to everything around it, was a Bellsprout. On the left side of the path, there was a Sentret, gazing curiously at Juro, as well as a Spinark, though it was up in a tree. On the left of the path was a Seedot. There was also something rustling in a bush nearby... It could be a rarer pokemon - or it could just be the wind. Which will you attack? Once one is attacked, or even talked to or approached, the others flee.

Juro looked at the choices he can make. The Bellsprout and Seedot, he really didn't care about. The Sentret held his attention for about a minute or so, before he spotted the Spinark. Maybe he should get another spider pokemon, because he adored them. But then the sound of the rustling bush was heard. Maybe something was hiding in there. It was a hard decision, so he let out Hao. The black furred dog pokemon shook his coat and looked around.
"Hao see what in those bushes."
With out a word the dog pokemon begins to walk cautiously towards them, sniffing around.

And wouldn't you know it, it was another furry, dog-like, dark pokemon. Except, it wasn't a Houndour. Oh no. It wasn't half fire type. "POOCH!" It raged, leaping out of the bush, tackling Hao to the ground. ((Not as the attack; just to question him and such. Which is why I said it DID; not TRIED TO ^_^)) All of the other pokemon fled instantly, especially the Spinarak, Seedot, and Bellsprout - they were scared half to death of Hao. <What are you doing here?> The Poochyena growled, letting saliva fall onto Hao's face, half because he didn't care, half to prove a point. He knew Hao's weaknesses, and he'd use them to his advantage. Saliva, afterall, was mainly water.

Caught by surprise, Hao found himself on his back with the Poochyena in his face with drool going into hie face. Hao seem to stay calm on the account that slob was dripping in his face. He seem to narrow his eyes and snarl.
\Like I really have to answer to the likes of you.\
The Houndour said.
\But if you don't mind. I want you to get off me, because one : Your saliva, it's really disgusting and two : I just don't want you on me. And if not I'll blow and Ember right in your face.\

The Poochyena stepped off, grinning a toothy kind of grin that would make the average child run home crying for Mommy. He liked the Houndour's attitude. Lately, all the pokemon had had, "OH HI!!1!11!11!!1one!1!" or *ignore* or, "Leave me alone, idiot," kind of attitudes. Those pokemon annoyed him more than starved Spearows that took a long time to catch. And man, those things annoyed him a LOT. <So, if you're all tough-guy then... Why the heck do'ya have a geeky trainer?> He asked, nosing towards Juro, raising his brows, sneering.

As the other dog pokemon lifted off of him, Hao got up and shook his head to get the icky, wet stuff off him. He eyed the Poochyena as he called Juro geeky.
\Hmp, he's not geeky. In fact having a trainer around makes you stronger anyway. That's why I hang around with him.\

The Poochyena let out a deep bark of laughter. The laughing was both at watching the Houndour shake itself off like the saliva would kill it, and at his comment. <You need a trainer to make you powerful then, eh? Can't do it on your own?> He taunted, adding a sneer to his next laugh. Rarely did he converse in such a manner with anyone - he only did it with those he respected, or liked in any way shape or form. That was rare, though. Usually, the only creatures he talked to, or taunted, were his meals.

\Really, eh? You find it funny that I can become more powerful than you just by having a trainer around?\
Hao gave a snort. He didn't like to be taunted. It was annoying and it made him angry.

At that, the Poochyena literally fell on the ground in hysterical laughter. After a few minutes, though, he rose, shaking his head, grinning evilly. <No. You're stronger because they control you. They even keep you in a handy, travel-sized pokeball. Pfft. You don't keep them around. They keep you around.>

Hao narrowed his eyes as the Poochyena fell to the floor and laugh. That laugh was making him quite insane right now. Despite this fact, he just stayed there, the pokemon was amusing to watch, but at the same time annoying.
\What if they do?\ he growled through gritted teeth. \At least I'm not alone, by myself, chasing Spearows and Pigdeys for fun. I can travel somewhere else instead of going around in a circle.\
Hao looked over to Juro, who was just resting on a nearby tree stump. He seem to be listening to the two dark pokemon talk. It seems like his mind was somewhere else. Hao turned his attention back to the other and see the reply was.

The Houndour shook his head in utter disbelief. That canine was... Insulting! <At least I have freedom. Whereas you... You called in and out of your pokeball, are faught with, faint, and are attacked and attack on command. And that's your reward? You get to travel? Wow, sign me up!> He barked out in a tone dripping with sarcasm. Far as he was concerned, his life was as good as it got - he'd never had an urge to go anywhere else. Unlike most dark pokemon, he was content simply living his life, boring though it may have been.

Hao gave a grin. He saw that he made the Poochyena angry.
\Not really. I don't have to attack if I want too... And fainting is just apart of training, no biggy, just makes you train harder. And besides traveling, we meet new friends. I hope you know what friends are...\

The Poochyena just shrugged again in response. If didn't have anything else to say; and it had becoem obvious he was fighting an argument neither of them would or could win. Bored, it stalked off. Nothing appeared for several minutes... But what was that rustling in the bush?
