"Jump over it and use Tackle from the sky!" Jen practically yelled, shivering slightly as the rain hit her skin. Dasher bent down and pushed up with her sleek limbs, dodging the attack and rising as high in the air as possible. She then straitened herself out as much as possible, giving her more speed as she fell towards the Nidoran male, ready to smash into it.

The Nidoran looked up, but didn't have time to dodge. Dasher fell right on top of him. However, thanks to the Nidoran's spike, and the fact that his nose was up in the air (forming a make shift Peck attack), and since Dasher fell onto the ground as well as onto the Nidoran, both pokemon were injured in the weird collision, though Dasher was successfully covering Nidoran, preventing him from moving.

Dasher's eyes watered as pain engulfed her belly, were the Nidoran's horn was now piercing. She narrowed her eyes and jumped quickly from the Nidoran's back.
"Use Tackle!" Jen said quickly, grinning at how well her plan worked. Dasher glared angrily at the poison pokemon before galloping at it, hoping that it would be too weak to move, but she kinda doubted it.

Dasher's doubts were right... And wrong. The Nidoran wasn't too weak to move... But his bellies pins were basically nailing him to the ground! The only thing he could to defend himself in any way shape or form was to stick his head out again, and hope Dasher would run into it. Dasher definately ran into him, though, and it HURT. A lot. A whole, freaking lot. He hadn't noticed how much it hurt when a huge deer ran into him until he had no way of dodging it.

Dasher smiled as she trampled the Nidoran. She turned around and pawed the ground, waiting for orders from her trainer. But, Jen hesitated for a moment, for the Nidoran looked so defenseless at the moment, and it felt wrong to attack it.
"Dasher...Help it up." she said, nodding her head as Dasher shot her a quizzical look. The Stantler then nodded and cautiously walked over to the Nidoran, using a hoof to try and pry him from the ground, careful not to touch any of the pointy spines aligning his body. She then jumped back, eyeing the little pokemon carefully and waiting for its next move. Jen's face was emotionless as she waited for the Nidoran's reaction.

The Nidoran had recoiled, expecting an attack. It stood dumbfounded, amazed that it's opponenet had done that. It shook slightly, and didn't attack - or even move to attack. Actually, it looked speechless, as though it would... Cry, or something. <Thank... You...> It said slowly, after a few moments of an awkward silence.

Jen smiled at the Nidoran's reactions, quite glad that it didn't attack. Dasher relaxed slightly, nodding at the Nidoran.
<I couldn't just attack you like that. You were defenseless.> she said, snorting as she let a few tired breaths out. Jen grinned and looked up at the sky, wondering if the rain was going to get any worse.

The Nidoran nodded, thinking of how he would have reacted... It would have been quite different, had they exchanged places. He would have barraged his helpless openent until they fainted. Helping them out would never have even occurred to him. He felt slightly bad that his method was so much... Crueler, and chose not to attack Dasher then, either. He didn't say anything, though. The rain continued to be a mere drizzle, nothing worse.

Dasher blinked when the Nidoran didn't respond, and she shifted her feet slightly.
<Uh, so...Do you want to continue our battle, or what?> she asked, tilting her head. Jen looked back to the Nidoran, curiously wondering what it was thinking about.

The Nidoran slowly nodded his head, in a curious and emotional manner, not sure exactly what to think, or what he should feel. <Alight... Charge!> He cried suddenly, as if geting his personality back, he pointed his horn towards Dasher and made a leap at him, with Poison Sting.

Dasher grinned as the battle began again, but then grunted as she was knocked to the ground. She shook her head and stood, not ready to give up yet.
"Use Tackle!" Jen said, excited that the battle wasn't going to end yet. Dasher pawed the ground and made a mad dash towards the Nidoran, her body lowered as far as she could go, hopefully making her attack more accurate.

Jen smiled as Dasher collapsed to the ground, panting heavily.
"Great job, girl. You need a break." Jen said, pulling out the Stantler's pokeball and returning her. She then looked at the Nidoran and smiled, pulling out an empty pokeball.
"I like you're style, Nidoran. You'll fit in well." she said to herself, for the Nidoran was out cold and probibly didn't hear her. She chuckled to herself and tossed the pokeball at the fainted pokemon.

Jen smiled and picked up the pokeball, stowing it away into her pack. She then pulled out another, releasing the Eevee inside.
"Hello, Emily. You up for some training?" she asked, grinning down at the Eevee, who nodding happily and wagged her tail. Jen chuckled and looked around for a pokemon to battle.
