Yet again, the Nosepass took the full force of the hit. It used a fast, barely-effective Harden to raise it's defense, though it did only minimal increasements. Then, it used another Rock Throw on Denhan.

The rocks were coming down hard, on Denhan. By the time Max climbed to the top, Denahn was covered on rock. Max thought for sure he was fainted. But then he saw movement. Denhan was still concious, barely. "Use the best Pound you can make!" Denhan charged through his make-shift tomb and smashed the rocks so he was free. Then he ran at the Nosepass, using all the strength he had.

The Nosepass dove forward as well, in it's own Tackle attack. Denhan's hand pounded down on it's head, and it felt weak suddenly... 'But Denhan had been weak before I Tackled it, and Denhan had hit me, so my attack had... Hit... Denh... An... Hadn't it?' The fuzzy thought comforted the Nosepass. With fading strength, it stepped back, wondering if Denhan was a goner or not. After all, it was at a higher level than the psychic pokemon.

Seeing the sudden weakness, Max made the most of it. "Use Pound!" Denhan didn't get hit by the Tackle so he was still alive and ran forward with a Pound.

The Pound finally put the Nosepass out of it's fuzzy misery, it fell back with a huge thud, making the ground shake. Denhan gains three levels! Denhan gains four happiness levels! 200$ magically appeared in thin air and fell into Max's hand. Wow, weird place this was, eh? Unfortunately, the large pounding of Nosepass's body against the ground seemed to have striggered something. The ground rumbled; a stream of lava started coming down, heading right for Max!

Max congratulated his Drowzee on his excellent performance. "I thought the only thing that you could think about was sleep. You put down a higher level Pokemon!" Max returned his Pokemon just in time. The Nosepass's fainting had caused a semi-earthquake. Soon, Max heard a gurgling, but not water. When he looked up, he saw the origin of the noise. Lava was coming straight for him. "Ahhh, Blast. Let's get out of here." His Growlithe was faster then Max and he had to try his hardest to keep up with the scared fire Pokemon.

However, the lava was faster, as the flow type seemed of low viscosity. But then, maybe it was too fast. What was going on here? {I'm so sorry Max, I almost forgot about this post! Please forgive me, I'll do better. T_T}

OoC: It's ok. I'm would probably forget a thread from time to time too.
BiC: The lava was almost upon them. If they didn't find shelter..... Max saw a big rock. There was a God. He climbed up it and helped Blast up, who had been running like crazy and would have past the safety if Max hadn't grabbed him.

A Growlithe was currently on the rock. It had been sleeping and was awake. It stood up and growled at them.

Another Growlithe. Max's Growlithe spoke urgently with the other Growlithe. <Hey, there is lava coming and if we can't use your rock for just a minute, then we will be toast> barked Blast, Max's Growlithe.

The Growlithe calmed down as Max's growlithe spoke to him. <Do you want a way out of here? I can show you a tunnel.>

<Yes, I think we have had enough fun for today> Max saw and understood the conversation and waited for the other dog's reply.

<The tunnel takes you to the volcano's heart. I just want to get full permission before I take you there. It might be dangerous.> barked the Growlithe.
The lava began to touch the edge's of the rock.

<OK, but hurry. We can't hold on to the rock for any longer.> Max's growlithe was beginning to be worried, not of himself but of his trainer, his best friend.

The Growlithe nodded and hopped down from the rock. It then used an Ember on the rock, which melted very quickly. It revealed pitch darkness. The Growlithe ran into the darkness...
