The rocks fell, trapping the Quilava in them. It tried to get out, but struggled. Growling, it shot an Ember over the rocks. The Growlithe appeared and motioned for them to run while the Quilava was trapped. The dog ran throught he exit.

OoC: No levels?
BiC: Max returned his two Pokemon, thanking them deeply. He then ran through the exit when a thought hit him. Isn't there supposed to be a fourth gaurd?

(No. You didn't really win. You just trapped it.)
The exit from the path led to the final path. This path had tons of lava streaming down the sides. A small path of rocks led to the exit of this path. Also lava filled the sides of the path. A pokemon waited at the exit. This was the last guard. He was the most powerful.

Max was having second thoughts as he went through the path, heading for the ultimate challenge, his toughest challenge yet. What would it be?

The last pokemon was a Charmeleon. It glared at him and unleashed an Ember without warning. It was a pretty stupid move putting your pokemon away.

The Embers burned Max's skin, he could feel it. All was lost, until. All of Max's pokeballs started to shake. Then they all bursted open. A Tauros, Drowzee, Nidoran M, Eevee, Growlithe and a Magby were all standing there. They never liked it when things hurt their master, but a cheap shot like that was unforgivable. They all unleashed their toughest moves, 2 Embers, a Tackle, Horn Attack, another Tackle, and a Pound, all aimed at the Charmeleon.

The Charmeleon took all of the attacks, but still had energy left. After all it was the strongest of the four. The Charmeleon threw its head and used Smokescreen. The Smokescreen covered the whole area. The Charmeleon then shot multiple Embers in different directions.

None of Max's Pokemon could see, so they all got clobbered by the Embers. All execpt for Holin, the Nidoran M. Max returned the rest of his Pokemon, promising them a good long rest at the next Pokecenter. Then he said, "Holin, we haven't battle together in ages. How about we take this guy down. Horn Attack!" Holin agreed that they hadn't battled together in a while then he charged at the Charmeleon, happy to be in a battle again.

The smoke faded just as the Charmeleon saw the Nidoran about to attack. Before it could do anything, it was attacked. The Charmeleon was flung into the lava. Annoyed, it stepped out of the lava. It opened its mouth and used Ember.

With Holin's high spirits of being able to battle, he ran for a another Horn Attack, along the way, dodging all of the Embers.

This time the Charmeleon was able to dodge. The fire lizard jumped to the side of Holin and used Scratch. Charmeleon used its sharpest nails.

Holin was hit by the claws and flew back against a rock. Unfazed, he used a Tackle and hopefully defeat the Charmeleon.

The Tackle hit the Charmeleon, but it wasn't the last challenge for nothing. It threw back its head and unleashed another Smokescreen. One again it shot random Embers in different directions.

God, that things like the Terminator. It never goes down! thought Max. Holin saw the Embers coming and for a plit second hestated. That cost him dearly as he flew back, hitting a rock. He struglled to get back up and fight. "Alright, use Leer to get the Charmeleon to hesitate!" Max cried. Holin stared through the smoke, searching for the eyes of the enemy.

For some the reason the Leer caused the Charmeleon to stop moving. It stared into space, doing nothing.
